Why am I seeing ‘Network Error’ message when downloading?

Are you trying to download a zip file of a completed order using Google Chrome but you see an error message saying ‘Network Error’?

What's going on?

This is an error with your internet connection. There is nothing we can do on our end to fix this, but here are some things Google suggest you try...

  1. Restart Chrome – exit and relaunch Chrome, then try your download again.
  2. Clear your cache and cookies.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome installed.
  4. Try downloading the file in a Chrome incognito window. If you no longer see the error message, you might have an issue with a Chrome extension. Learn how to disable them here.
  5. Try changing your download destination folder within Chrome.
  6. Check to see if any antivirus or firewall programs on your computer may be blocking the download by turning them off temporarily. If you can download files when the firewall is off, you may need to create an exception in your antivirus or firewall settings.
  7. Restart your router or internet connection.
  8. Uninstall any recently installed programs, especially programs with names you do not recognise. Some malicious programs may intentionally cause conflicts in Chrome. Windows users: Try the Chrome Cleanup Tool.
  9. Try downloading the file from another network connection.
  10. Try downloading the file from another web browser like IE, Firefox, or Safari and see if you run into the same issue.
  11. Create a new user profile. If you no longer see an issue with downloading files, your browser profile could be corrupt.
  12. As a last resort, Uninstall Chrome and reinstall the latest version of Chrome.
