How do I change the colour of my floorplans?

Are you wondering how to change the wall, fill and text colour of your floorplans? Maybe you’d like them to match your (or your client's) brand colours?

Custom colour AutoCAD floorplans

Custom colour plans allow you to change the wall, fill and text colours to any colour you like allowing for maximum customisation.

  1. Login to your Elements account.
  2. Click the 'gear icon' (top right).
  3. Go to Floorplan Sketch Conversion settings.
  4. Scroll down to 'Black & white or colour' and select 'Custom colour'.
  5. Click the coloured boxes to set your chosen colours.
  6. Click 'Save changes'.

Zoned colour AutoCAD floorplans

Living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, storage areas etc are differentiated by using unique colours for each 'zone'. Please note, these colours are fixed and cannot be customised.

  1. Login to your Elements account.
  2. Click the 'gear icon' (top right).
  3. Go to Floorplan Sketch Conversion settings.
  4. Scroll down to 'Black & white or colour?' and select 'Zoned colour'.
  5. Click 'Save changes'.

Metropix floorplans

Using the Elements Metropix account

We can create floorplans on your behalf using Metropix. These can be produced in black & white or colour.

  1. Login to your Elements account.
  2. Click the 'gear icon' (top right).
  3. Go to Floorplan Sketch Conversion settings.
  4. Under 'How should we produce your floorplans?' select 'Metropix'.
  5. Select either 'Black & white' or 'colour'.
  6. Click 'Save changes'.

Using your Metropix account

If you use your own Metropix account, you should set the colour scheme within your Metropix account. This should be done before placing an order with us. Learn more about Metropix orders.

How do I change my client's floorplan colours?

If you're a supplier offering your services to agents, you can change the colour of their AutoCAD floorplans as follows...

  1. Login to your Elements account.
  2. Click the 'gear icon' (top right).
  3. Go to My clients.
  4. Find your client and click the 'gear icon' to change their settings.
  5. Go to Floorplan Sketch Conversion.
  6. Update their floorplan colour settings as required.
  7. Click 'Save client'.
