How do I share my video on Rightmove, social media, my website etc?

Are you wondering how to share your completed videos with people to get them excited about your property!? We'll send you a link to the video, here's more about the link and what you can do with it.

Where is my video hosted?

Rather than send you the video file itself (which would be huge!), we provide a URL link to where the video is hosted - we use Vimeo. Never heard of Vimeo? It's like YouTube but without ads.

Where do I get the link to the video?

  1. Login to your Elements account.
  2. Go to My orders and find the Video Slideshow order.
  3. Click the 'Action' button and click 'Get link to video'.
  4. In the popup, click 'Copy link to clipboard'.

The link will look something like this Notice if you click it, you'll be taken to Vimeo where you can watch the video.

If you require the MP4 file of the video, please see How do I download the MP4 video file?

Where can I use the link?

People won't be searching Vimeo for your property videos so you'll need to paste the link into the places where you want the video to be proudly displayed. Places like...

  • Rightmove (or any other portal)
  • Your website
  • Your estate agency/property management software
  • Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
  • Emails
  • Anywhere else you can share video links

How do I use the link?

When adding a new property to Rightmove, go to the section 'Additional Media (e.g. Video Tours etc)' and paste the link into the URL box.

The video will appear here in your property listing...

Your website

If you manually update your website with new properties, check with your web developer or ask your website support where to paste the link.

If your website pulls property information directly from your estate agency/property management software, see the section below.

Your agency software

Find the section “Virtual Tour” or “Video Tour” and paste the link. For example...

Paste the link in the section where you would write something to update your status. You should see the video pop up, then hit Publish.

Click Tweet, paste the link in the box that pops up, then hit Tweet again.

To share the video with someone via a basic email, just paste the link in the email message. When the viewer clicks on the link, the video will be shown at

If you're using more advanced email capable of embedding videos in the email body, then the video may play directly in the email.
